Guiso Latin Fusion in Healdsburg

What a great find!! Small and cozy restaurant that nails all the dishes. We shared everything, small plates and a mains, and none of it disappointed. The restaurant has a secret family sauce that is truly spectacular. Fish tacos, amazing. Friendly and efficient service, good wine selection and excellent menu options. Can’t wait to go back.

Food was amazing from start to finish. Waitress was cute and attentive. Clearly the food is made with a lot of love and passion. Highly recommend.

Chef Carlos is a rock star! Love his pupusas, Camarones Borrachos and his paella ! Wonderfully delicious!

After a disappointing overpriced experience at Valette around the corner, Chef Carlos was a breath of fresh air. Honest but well crafted dishes that exceeded expectations. The Camerones Borracho were intriguingly Indian in style with a splash of cummin but still had a foot in the Americas. The pupusas were as authentic as you can get but delightfully presented. The Chicken en Chili Verde was so nicely balanced in flavor - a subtle heat, sublimely juicy and tender chicken breast, accompanied with garden vegetables. Lastly, the paella was unlike any you will have encountered before. Rich, but not heavy. Each element was clearly standing apart yet contributing to the whole. Many paellas end up being a messy fusion of flavors but this one was at once both rich and distinct. Save yourself some money and dine at Guiso before you book at the other Healdsburg regulars.

Amazing food. Sat at the bar which has a view of the chef cooking all the meals. Very chatty and makes it an amazing experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They are very proud of the food and authenticity of their cuisine. EAT THE PUPUSAS!

We enjoyed our experience, thanks for the warm welcome Chef. It's a small space, so reservation is a must. We got our reservation at 530pm. We ordered sliders, lamb chops n paella. The sliders were out of this world. Lamb chops were not medium rare as we hoped, but had good flavors. Paella was good but slightly tangy for my taste.

Delicious! Every dish was flavorful and fresh. The service was also very attentive. It’s a very small restaurant so definitely make a reservation. As a pescatarian I had many options to choose from and we shared every dish. Don’t miss this one.

It was hard to believe such a small place could give you all stars food and service. Chef is the young fella dedicated to business above and beyond. Interesting,creative food approach based on quite traditional ingredients. Felt like home.
